our current active ministry
This Young Life area currently has one active ministry; at Penn Trafford High School. In the near future we hope to extend our reach into other high schools and middle schools across the county...including but not limited to: Penn & Trafford Middle, Norwin, Hempfield, Greensburg Salem.

Making connections
Behind our team of leaders is a group of local adults who shoulder this mission behind the scenes. They are the people who make things happen for us - they are our advocates in the community and help us ensure that Young Life will be a permanent fixture in Penn Trafford.
Our Ministry Model
Going to where kids are
Instead of staying put in a building hoping that teenagers come to us, we go to them - on their own turf. Our team of 7 trained leaders can be found at the high school at any given moment: meeting kids, building bridges of friendship, and earning the right to heard...so that at the proper time we can share with them the life changing news of the gospel. That is why you see us in the student section at every Penn Trafford game imaginable. That is why you see us on the sidelines coaching. That is why you can catch us shopping at the community grocery store or at the local pizza place. We want to be where kids are.

Young life is 100% crowd funded
We are an international non-profit Christian outreach organization and are recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3). This means that in order for Young Life to continue, it must be financially supported by the local area that hosts it. We believe that every kid in this area deserves to hear about the love Jesus has for them. You can help us accomplish that with your financial support.
